Key Staff at Optimize Search Marketing
Mike Rogers MBA - Managing Director
Mike
is the founder of Optimize and has been working exclusively in Search
Marketing since 1999. He has been the senior Search Strategist on
numerous SEO and PPC campaigns for clients that include COLT Telecom,
Kodak, Royal Mail, Toshiba, Yell.com, YHA and many more small and
medium-sized businesses.
Prior to Optimize Mike worked for several years in the Computer
Aided Design (CAD) industry. Most recently he was with Definitive
Applications, Europe’s leading VAR for Parametric Technology,
where he was Customer Relations Manager and later, Marketing &
Business Development Manager. Earlier roles in the CAD industry
included European Marketing Manager at Virtual Reality Solutions,
European Marketing Manager at FastCAD Europe and UK Marketing Support
and Customer Relations Manager for SDRC.
Mike qualified from Cardiff University with an Honours Degree in
Civil and Structural Engineering, and later acquired an MSc Masters
in Structural Engineering at West Virginia University, USA and an
MBA from the Open University.
Martin Brown - Director
Martin
is a Sales and Marketing Executive with in-depth international experience
on the client, media and advertising agency sides of the business.
Before joining Optimize he was with Google as Industry Head and
Wunderman as Group Account Director both roles covering the UK and
Europe. He has significant background in brand management and multi-agency
management including leading major product launches. Martin has
extensive sales programme and management experience, building strong
internal and retailer teams to develop sales to #1 position nationally
in both UK and US markets. Substantial experience of above and below
the line advertising, account management, events, promotions and
sponsorships with General Motors and also with the major US advertising
agency Goodby, Silverstein and Partners (Digital Agency of the Year
2006 and 2009).
